Today we focused mainly on cleaning in preparation for engine installment. The brake hub and shoes were very muddy from previous use so we tried to clean it off as best we could with rags and de-rust solution for the springs. Upon putting the brake hub back together, we added some of the new grease we bought in the proper places. We then cleaned and polished our plastics with a plastic cleaning spray and began de-rusting our engine tank again. In the upcoming weeks, we are hoping we can buy proper cleaning materials to clean the rear wheel and then reinstall the wheel on the motorcycle.
