While we are waiting to make further progress with our cylinder, we decided to change out the rear sprocket. To complete this task, we had to remove the rear wheel entirely. After disconnecting bolts from the rear axle, we used a punch tool and mallet to drive the axel out. It was extremely difficult to punch out the axel. It was so old and stuck in the tire, it took 25 minutes to punch it out. We took of the gross, old sprocket and replaced it with a new one that was given to us by the man that sold us the motorcycle. Before we reattach the wheel, we plan to clean its rim and spokes of excess dirt and rust.
